Best Deviled Egg Recipe:
This is the best deviled egg recipe because it has the perfect yolk to mayonnaise ratio in my opinion. This recipe can easily be increased. or decreased based on the amount of people you're feeding. When you remove all the yolks from your egg whites, simply stir in 1/2 tablespoons of may for every 1 egg yolk. This will result in egg yolks that are not swimming in mayonnaise, are the perfect shade of yellow, and have that rich yolk flavor.
How Long Does it Take to Boil an Egg:
When I'm making hard boiled eggs, I like to fill a pot with water and put in my desired amount of eggs. I cover the pot with it's lid and then set it on the stove on high heat until the water starts boiling. I let the eggs boil for two minutes before turning off the heat completely. I leave the lid on the pot, and let it sit on the hot turned off burner for 10 minutes. Once the 10 minutes is up I transfer the eggs into a bowl of ice water to allow them to cool. This results in perfectly cooked yolks every time.
Deviled Egg Toppings:
Some of my favorite toppings for deviled eggs are:
- Paprika
- Green Onion
- Everything But The Bagel Seasoning
- Black Olives
- Parsley
How Long Are Deviled Eggs Good For:
Deviled eggs are best stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. But this is the best deviled egg recipe, so they will likely not last that long.
