Strawberry Banana Spinach Smoothie

Is there anything better than a strawberry banana spinach smoothie? This is such a classic combination with the strawberry banana flavor that everyone loves, with a punch of spinach for a dose of greens and healthy nutrients. This smoothie is packed with lots of key nutrients, and is really well balanced to help provide you with a quick and easy on the go breakfast.

Strawberry Banana Spinach Smoothie:

This smoothie is super easy to put together. Simply throw half a banana, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup of almond milk, 2 tbsp of Greek Yogurt, and 1 cup of spinach into the base of your blender. Blend everything together until it's super smooth and there are no large chunks, then you're good to go!

The Best Blender for Smoothies:

We have been using the Kitchenaid K400 blender exclusively for the last year and absolutely love it! It has a ton of power making it super easy to blend through frozen fruit! I almost never have to mush things down and shake the blender to get things to puree, which isn't something I can say for every blender we've had previously.

If you've noticed, we use the same metal straws in almost all of our smoothie pictures. Our family has been using these metal straws for the last two years now and we really love them. It saves so much plastic from going into the landfills, and I honestly love that we don't have to purchase straws at the grocery store anymore. We bought these on Amazon, and you can't go wrong for under $10!

Strawberry Banana Spinach Smoothie Recipe Notes:

  • We always use plain non-fat greek yogurt in all of our smoothie recipes!
  • Almond milk is a great source of vitamin D and healthy fats which is why we use it often, but you can sub for any milk or liquid of your choice!
  • You can boost the protein by adding a scoop of protein powder
  • A scoop of nut butter would also be a great addition too!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 2 tbsp Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt

Instructions

  1. Throw everything together in the base of the blender and cover with the lid. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds, until everything is well combined and smooth. Serve immediately.
